Ninth Glenn Gould Prize Jury Dinner

On Friday, April 1, 2011, members of The Glenn Gould Foundation Council of Fellows mixed and mingled with the Ninth Prize Jurors at a member’s dinner held in Baillie Court at the Art Gallery of Ontario. The Ninth Prize Jury members included Dadawa (China), Atom Egoyan (Canada), Stephen Fry (UK), Gary Graffman (USA), Phoebe Greenberg (Canada), Elaine Overholt (Canada), and Costa Pilavachi (Canada/UK/Greece).

Guests heard the Jurors recount their deliberation process and tell personal stories about what Ninth Prize Laureate, Leonard Cohen, means to them.

Following an exquisite meal, guests then enjoyed two unique Zenph re-performances® from Glenn Gould and Oscar Peterson with Zenph Sound Innovations founder John Q. Walker.

The evening closed with a stunning vocal performance by rising star mezzo-soprano, Wallis Giunta, accompanied by Steven Philcox on piano.
