2021 is over. Let’s face it: that was a rough year.
Something much better lies ahead, especially if Glenn Gould’s marvelous music, technical vision, and unique spirit are helping you get through the ordeals of the pandemic.
Here’s your chance to help celebrate September 25, 2022, the 90th anniversary of Gould’s birth. The Glenn Gould Foundation is inviting you to join in a global hue and cry, and to raise your hats to this world-renowned artist.
Your Invitation:
Send us your plans for a Gould-celebrating concert, live stream, video, seminar, publication, artwork, symposium, AI exploration, Augmented Reality extravaganza, poem, play, or other initiative.
The Glenn Gould Foundation will recognize the creative spark of your Gouldian inspiration by making your initiative an official GlennGould@90 event, promoted on our website and social media, and with our encouragement for you to mark your project with the official GlennGould@90 logo.
Preference will be given to projects with a focus on innovation, thinking outside the box (as Gould did so well), and work that presents Gould as an artist and thinker for today and tomorrow.
GlennGould@90 projects should take place from now until September 25, 2023.
